Tears and a Stone for America

It is said that living in each adult is a child of yesteryear. I would agree with that because I have spoken with him. He conveyed those sights, sounds, smells and the childhood illusions and intensity of feelings. And he made me cry .. silently .. unashamedly .. hot rivulets onto ice cold anger.
All the kids in those mean bomb scarred World War2 British Cities .. played Cowboys and Indians. The scary savages were always vanquished by the noble white cowboy and sometimes even the besieged settlers and the horse cavalry get a look in .. down the hill they thundered .. Regimental Battle Pennants streaming .. bugle stridently warning .. We are coming .. We are coming .. long sabres to the fore and glinting in the sun .. My heros of the 7th .. saved the day again.
Six English Pennies to enter the Saturday morning kids movies .. 3 non stop hours of American propaganda fantasy .. and in the while the circulating ice cream maid did a brisk trade.
My whole perception of America was built of movies on such subjects as the Alamo .. Daniel Boone .. The Seventh Cavalry at Bull Run. The Lone Ranger .. Kit Carson .. Hopalong Cassidy .. The Civil War and the night old Dixie died on the banishing of Slavery .. Calamity Jane .. Doc Holiday .. Jesse James and many more . . the anomalies went unquestioned.
I was in my mid teens when I started to go to Adult Cinema and watch more mature films. The British offerings at that point could not equal the more sophisticated Hollywood. One film in particular shaped my childish perception of America .. I do not even remember its name .. However it employed a well used propaganda technique. that lent itself to many scenarios.
Picture if you will .. the poor immigrant .. escaping from horrendous circumstances .. standing at the rail of a rusty old freighter .. Collar turned against the chill light mist .. a tug boat hooting echoes .. and butting against the tide ..
His eyes were taken by a misty slowly looming Colossus that metamorphosed into The Statue of Liberty .. a gift from a grateful French Republic for the staunch support of American peoples as the French peoples disposed of corrupt and tyrannical leaders and reshaped the Nation .. Liberty is such a beautiful lady, and I needed to believe .. because in the dirty squalor and danger that surrounded city war time children .. We all needed a torch to light the gloom .. and a fresh breath of air .. instead of the forced gaiety and drifting tendrils of fear.Then miraculously a Sun Beam breaking through the low cloud
and .. kissing awake her face and lighting the upheld torch of Liberty and
Freedom ... I
know that the poor immigrants came in their millions chasing the American dream
.. I know that some made it .. From all over Great Britain and from all the nations
of Europe and Asia .. The presumption was .. that in America .. even the
lowliest citizen may become the President.
Then of course there were many films about the Ghetto�s .. Comedy films .. Gangster films .. Detective films .. High Society .. all running along the theme of .. � Local Boy Makes Good � .. I believed the propaganda .. A virus by subterfuge .. That was how my limited perception betrayed me .. or maybe it did not .. perhaps such things used to happen in America .. but it must have been a long time ago.

America told me that it was fighting a war on terror to make the world safe for freedom and democracy .. but that was another lie .. this time the lie was told to an adult not a child .. I have many American friends ... so I know its not the people ... I can see the lies that they feed you via the main stream media .. but which differs in fact and content .. to what people in other countries are reading.A quarter of a million Iraqi�s slaughtered. The genocidal horror of the razing of Fallujah with white phosphorous and depleted uranium bombs and munitions .. the savage Marine rape and slaughter of women, children and elders in small towns and villages throughout Iraq .. all such atrocities are banned by the Geneva Convention. It has been estimated that the tonnage of depleted uranium weaponry unleashed in Iraq is the equivalent of 160 x 25kt nuclear bombs the the same size that destroyed Hiroshima .
This is bestiality of the worst kind and its being done in your name. The half life of depleted uranium is circa 4.5 billion years .. that is untold generations of deformed and still born children .. deformities, cancer and thyroid problems are already raging out of control amongst the children and adults alike.
Those who inflicted this upon the Iraqi people cannot escape the consequences because the very dust is now radio active and they breathe it in .. all the time .. they take it home and make love to their wives. The radio active particles were also carried by the atmospheric winds in a wide swathe across Europe and the U.K .. deadly dust settling on the land and yet more innocents .. and this on top of Chernobyl.The American peoples along with the rest of the World .. have been living a monsterous lie for 100 years or more .. as to the true nature of the affairs around them .. What happens in The White House and the Pentagon happens to the rest of the world on the morrow .. It was never about freedom and democracy .. because as far as I can see America does not have any .. and Americas prime export is Corporate led wars of agression in some one elses country .. It is the Corporations with bribes who command your President and the Military .. It was never the American peoples. Remember the sacrifice of the USS Liberty and her sailors. Yesterday they died for political expediency .. tomorrow its your turn.
Nobody hates America for her freedom .. the hatred grows for .. unprovoked and savage aggression and invasions .. Guantanamo .. Abu Gharib .. Imprisonment without trail .. Torture .. Trashing the Geneva Convention ..The abuse of Human Rights .. FBI spies in amongst the people .. The arrest and bully boy police manhandling .. of Cindy Sheehan .. demonstrates clearly what the rest of the world already knows about America.
The rest of the world does not feel any safer for the unleashing of American/Israeli Huns of terror .. with the promise of a Nuclear Global war .. A total disregard for human life .. Rendition flights by the C.I.A. .. Imprisonment without trial .. torture .. extra judicial killings .. British, American, Israeli false flag operations in Iraq .. Mosque bombings .. Suicide bombings ..The Palestinian question .. the list is endless .. all done in your name .. whilst they kill the Global dream of Peace and Justice! .. This for an American two dollar gallon of petrol at the pumps.
My inner child is grief stricken and inconsolable at the killing of a dream .. the adult knows that the child is being unreasonable .. but in cold fury wants to throw a stone and let off some steam. I trust my American friends will forgive me for daring to criticise .. Because the stone is thrown for them as well.
